
History:
Incorporated in 1998, Tripoint started business at its present headquarters located on 157 Nassau Street in Nassau Bahamas. Since that time additional offices have been opened in Freeport, Abaco, and Exuma in the Bahamas, and a sister company Tripoint Communications (TCI) Limited was recently launched on Providenciales, The Turks & Caicos Islands. Tripoint staff compliment today exceeds twenty five (25) persons with varying managerial and technical skills.
Core Competency
Tripoint’s core competency is “electronic transactions” powered by a myriad of products led by Verifone branded terminals.
Divisions
Tripoint has three major divisions:

Tripoint Communications Ltd that manages and maintains the network of Credit Card terminals throughout the Bahamas and primarily servicing its local commercial banking partners-Royal Bank of Canada, First Caribbean Bank, Scotia Bank, Bank of the Bahamas and Commonwealth Bank.

Tripoint Software Solutions Ltd. that writes proprietary vertical solutions for these terminals, and any POS micro or hardware that facilitates processing transactions or information electronically. This division also oversees POS services to the local Petroleum dealerships.

Tripoint Payment Systems Ltd that manages the business of prepaid phone air time.
