How to store thermal rolls paper

The thermal equipment is gaining more and more force in the market. However, to usufruct of all these advantages, it is important to know how to store the yellow thermal rolls.

Pre-use of the reel

• The Regispel reel boxes are adequate for storage of the material there in.
• Thermal reel packing should be opened and the rolls removed at time of their usage, as the cardboard with which such boxes are manufactured has physical properties to absorb the humidity of the outer part avoiding passing through to the inner part of the box.
• Even with this technology, the boxes should be stored on wooden pallets, with no contact with the fool and at distance of walls, in environmental temperature not above 40° celcius and under 15° celcius.

Reel Handling

• Remove reel from its original packing only at time of usage.
  
• Avoid contact with liquids of any nature and the rolls should not be exposed to sunlight, fluorescent light or excessive heat for long periods of time.
• The rolls are sealed with a type of glue specific for this application and when open the first turn of the reel should be discarded.
  
• Use of plastic films (flow pack) for packing of reel is inadequate as it restrains the heat and humidity exchanges required for paper assurance with possibility to occur internal transpiration and damage to the product.

Post-use of the reel

• Store the coupon in paper envelops, at distance of contact with liquids, greases, solvents, water etc) and exposure to sunlight , fluorescent light and excessive heat or cold.
  
• Avoid contact with plastic material of any nature and petroleum based products in general.
  
• Respecting the guidelines mentioned above, VCP, as manufacturer of the paper, and Regispel as converter warrant the product according to its technical specifications, this means prior to usage for 1 year and after its usage for a period of up to 5 years.
